 Traditions Outfitter offers excellent dove hunting for the ultimate fast-paced wing-shoots. The Delaware and Maryland seasons start on September 1st and the opener always fills up fast. We have some of the best shooting on the shore and would be happy to host you or your group. Our fields are specifically planted for dove hunting. We generally plant sunflowers in the early spring and plant buckwheat/milo later in the summer. We set up in locations where dove are trading between feeding, water and roosting spots. The price for a half day dove hunt is $150.00 for opening day and $100.00/gun afterwards. We require a $50.00 deposit to hold your date and payment in full is required for the opener. Dove hunts are offered in September and October. You can book one or more people. Hunts are scheduled for morning or evening. All deposits are refundable if we cancel the hunt, but can not be refunded if you cancel your reservation.
 

For your hunt you must have:

Maryland or Delaware Hunting license

Shotgun capable of holding less than three shells and a seat

Camouflage clothing that you can stay cool and bug spray

Shells between 7 ½ and 9 size


Doves are very difficult to hit and the season is the first after, so please take a day to refresh your shooting skills.


Corporate Hunts provides a way for a group of dove hunters, whether just a group of friends, corporate event or a customer appreciation day to have a great time hunting together. A group of 12 or more hunters qualify for the corporate hunt and we can handle up to 40 in our largest fields. Traditions will provide a great hunting field exclusively for your group - no other dove hunters will hunt on that particular day.


DRHC will also make any other arrangements needed for your dove hunt:
Bird Cleaning Services and trained retriever with a handler
Food (Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, BBQ, etc.) and Drinks
Tables, Chairs, Tents, etc.

Depending on the number of hunters and any additional services, we would be happy to provide a discounted price for corporate hunts. They will need to be scheduled well in advance and a deposit is required.
